NFL Divisional Round Jock MKT Value Buy

Jock MKT is one of the most interesting fantasy sports platforms because of your ability to make money on any individual player available on the market. Other users will dictate the price of players, meaning you’ll always have the option to buy anyone in the player pool.

You may be forced to pay a premium for the best players on the slate, although their price tag will never exceed the $25 per share you’ll receive if they lead the slate in scoring. You aren’t forced to buy high-priced options, though.

With over 100 players on the market, some will go overlooked every Sunday. You don’t need to buy the most expensive options on the market to have the potential for a massive payday. In this article, I’ll look at my favorite potential values for the Divisional Round.

Randall Cobb, WR, Green Bay Packers

Jock MKT Projection: 9.72 FPs

Max IPO Bid: $5.00

Break-Even Rank: 15

Cobb’s performed well when on the field for the Green Bay Packers this season. He’s recorded 28 receptions for 275 yards and 5 touchdowns over 12 games. He posted a 71.8% catch rate while averaging 13.4 yards per reception this season.

Cobb’s been out since Week 12 after undergoing core muscle surgery. He looked great in that game against the Los Angeles Rams, though, recording 4 receptions for 95 yards and 1 touchdown on 5 targets. Cobb also recorded two touchdowns against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals this season, flashing tremendous upside.

One of the keys to Cobb this weekend is his role in the red zone. Overall, he’s seen 12 red zone targets in 2021. With that being said, he ranks eighth in the NFL with 11 targets inside the 10-yard-line. He scored four of his touchdowns on those targets.

Allen Lazard’s taken over a large part of the slot role while Cobb was gone, and he’s consistently found the end zone in recent games. The veteran will take his role back this week with Lazard shifting outside to play for the injured Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

Cobb gets a plus matchup against the San Francisco 49ers as well. They’re only giving up 206.5 passing yards per game, but they’re allowing 7.3 adjusted yards per attempt this season. The 49ers have given up 25 passing touchdowns with a 4.6% passing touchdown rate in 2021.

San Francisco’s also struggled against the slot this season, as K’Waun Williams has struggled for the 49ers. This is a matchup Cobb can take advantage of.

He ranks 20th in Jock MKt’s pre-rank for Saturday’s Divisional Round slate. He’s projected for 9.72 fantasy points. Cobb could see a few extra targets with Valdes-Scantling out, and it’s clear Aaron Rodgers loves targeting the veteran in the red zone. He comes with tremendous upside for where he’ll be ranked on Saturday.
