Jock MKT is one of the most interesting fantasy sports platforms because of your ability to make money on any individual player available on the market. Other users will dictate the price of players, meaning you’ll always have the option to buy anyone in the player pool.
You may be forced to pay a premium for the best players on the slate, although their price tag will never exceed the $25 per share you’ll receive if they lead the slate in scoring. You aren’t forced to buy high-priced options, though.
With over 100 players on the market, some will go overlooked every Sunday. You don’t need to buy the most expensive options on the market to have the potential for a massive payday. In this article, I’ll look at my favorite potential values for Wild Card Weekend.
Zay Jones, WR, Las Vegas Raiders
Jock MKT Projection: 10.23 FPs
Max IPO Bid: $6.50
Break-Even Rank: 11
Jones’ seen a second-half breakout for the Las Vegas Raiders this season. He’s posted 47 receptions for 546 yards and 1 touchdown through 17 games. He also boasts a 67.1% catch rate to go along with 11.6 yards per reception.
Jones’ seen his role in the Las Vegas offense grow since Week 12 against the Dallas Cowboys. He’s seen 5+ targets in each of his last seven games. Jones’ averaging 5.4 receptions for 52.7 yards on 7.7 targets per game over that span. He’s also seen 8+ targets in each of his last four games.
Jones’ seen mixed results in terms of fantasy points throughout the season. With that being said, he’s recorded double-digit fantasy points in three of his last four games. He also recently posted 22.9 fantasy points against the Indianapolis Colts.
Jones gets an outstanding matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals this weekend. They’re allowing 248.4 passing yards per game and 7.1 adjusted yards per attempt over 17 games. Cincinnati’s also given up 26 passing touchdowns with a 4.2% passing touchdown rate in 2021.
The Bengals have also struggled with air yards and yards after the catch (YAC) this season. They’ve given up 2,470 air yards and 2,028 YAC over 17 games. Cincinnati’s allowing the sixth-most airYAC (4,498) in the NFL this season.
Jones’ only seen 979 air yards with a 14 aDOT this season. With that being said, he’s averaging over 100 air yards per game over his last four games. He isn’t an overly dominant YAC player, recording only 56 YAC over that span. With that being said, he’ll see plenty of opportunities throughout the playoffs.
Jones ranks 15th in Jock MKT’s pre-rank for Saturday’s Wild Card slate. He’s projected for 10.23 fantasy points this weekend. Jones is playing a big role in the Las Vegas offense, and he should continue to see plenty of targets. The Raiders are expected to be playing from behind this weekend, and Jones’ flashed upside without finding the end zone since Week 1.
